Import into Jira

  1. Download the template as CSV (File → Download → CSV)
  2. In Jira, go to your project → Import Issues → CSV
  3. Upload your CSV file
  4. Map columns: Title → Summary, Description → Description, Story Points → Story Points
  5. Click Import - your stories are now in Jira!

Download as Excel

  1. Open the template in Google Sheets
  2. Go to File → Download → Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)
  3. Open in Excel - all formatting is preserved!
  4. The conditional formatting and formulas work in Excel too

Import into Linear

  1. Download as CSV from Google Sheets
  2. In Linear, go to Settings → Import
  3. Select CSV and upload your file
  4. Map fields and import your stories

To import into Jira:

  5. Jira will create the issues automatically with all your data preserved
